OILING
Mix throughly in a clean can ½ pint of heavy oil, such as Mobiloil “Marine Light Heavy” or Mobiloil “AF” or other high grade S.A.E. No. 40 oil, with each gallon of gasoline (Petrol). Refill gearcase with “Mobile Underwaster Gear Grease” or “Sea-Horse Gear Lubricant” every 1 to 4 weeks, depending on how much motor is used.

STARTING
Open tank valve - unscrew far as possible. Open air vent on filter cap. Open needle valve about 1 to 1 1/2 turns. Place magneto lever in center over carburetor. Push carburetor lever all the way down to choke position Press float pin on top of carburetor until gasoline runs over. Spin motor with rope and, when started advance magneto lever to right as slowly raise throttle lever to center. Close needle valve to obtain maximum motor speed. To start warm motor be careful as to amount of choking as in starting an automobile.
