TO START
COLD MOTOR
Turn tank valve lever down. close needle valve, then open one full turn. Set magneto lever over carburetor. Push carburetor lever all the way down which chokes motor. Hold down float pin on top of carburetor until gasoline runs over. When motor starts move magneto lever to right and slowly raise throttle lever to center. Close needle valve to normal opening which is about 1/2 turn.

OILING
Always mix oil and gasoline in a clean can BEFORE filling tank. Use heavy medium oil such as Gargoyle Mobiloil "A" or other high grade oil of similar body in the proportion of one half pint of oil to 1 gallon of gasoline, or 6 tubes on filler cap in 5 pints of gasoline which is the Capacity of the tank. Refill gear case with Gargoyle Mobiloil "CC" gear lubricant every 1 to 4 weeks depending on use of motor.
